Kumar Family Trip to Europe: Summer 2010

We arrived in Frankfurt Germany at 10 am Thursday June 17th.  Kiran picked us up in one of the fancy European cars he rents.  We thought we had left the rain in California but guess what?  it is raining here as well.  Our journey began on June 16th   with our dear friend Caroline Fea taking us to the airport! Thank you Caroline!  the journey was rather pleasant! we traveled united from SfO to Dulles and then to Frankfurt.  the Journey was was surprisingly short.  I guess I am used to the longer journey to India!.
when we got to the apartment we unpacked and then Shivani, Om and I took a really long nap.  good thing Kiran to work that day.  Later that evening we went to Speyer had dinner in a sports bar where everyone spoke only German even the Menu was in German so we had no clue what we ordered.  I have to say it was a lot of fun to watch the world cup Soccer Mexico against France.
